Superbowl LII

By EDMUND GRECO

Superbowl LII(52) is coming closer and closer. The NFL championship game, premiering on Sunday February 4th, will be played at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota between the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots. The game is expected to be watched by millions of people and will be available on NBC, kickoff is at 6:30 p.m.

The favorite for the Superbowl is the defending Superbowl champions: the New England Patriots, led by Head Coach Bill Belichick and Quarterback Tom Brady. Experts predict that Tom Brady will win his sixth Superbowl ring and become MVP once again.

The Philadelphia Eagles are the underdogs and have a chance at winning their first Superbowl since 1960. The Eagles were early picks for Superbowl contention earlier in the season, when they were led by 2nd year Quaterback Carson Wentz.

However, ever since Wentz went down with a season ending injury later in the season, the Eagles have lost popularity under veteran Quaterback Nick Foles.

Both teams have built a heavily stacked team, especially the Eagles defense, which was a leader in the NFL this year.

Whatever the odds, this game will surely be one worth watching!
