Many people across America sat in front of their televisions on February 12, 2023 and enjoyed the 57th Annual Super Bowl held in Glendale, Arizona, at the State Farm Stadium. This was the 57th Super Bowl game, and it was held in Glendale, Arizona, at the State Farm Stadium. 

 

The Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs starred in the game. Patrick Mahomes, a favorite player among many, led the Kansas City Chiefs to victory with a score of 38-35. The Kansas City Chiefs now have 3 Super Bowls, and Patrick Mahomes now has 2. 

 

According to Brian Johnson, Super Bowl 2023 hosted both of Donna Kelce’s sons: one son playing for the Kansas City Chiefs and another playing for the Philadelphia Eagles. She was not rooting for one team versus another, but she told KMBC News before the game, “Obviously, I want each boy to do the best that they can, put it all out on the field so that they have no regrets.” To honor both of her sons during the game, she wore a custom jersey that was red on the front for her son Travis, who played for the Chiefs and green on the back for her son Jason, who played for the Eagles. As the first mom to have her sons play each other in the Superbowl, Kelce made sports history. 

 

There were many famous people and celebrities who attended the Super Bowl as well. Some famous people spotted were Adele, ASAP Rocky (obviously to support Rihanna), Paul McCartney, Lebron James, Gordon Ramsey, and even TikTok celebrity Alix Earle. 

 

The halftime show featured Rihanna. Rihanna made a huge comeback performance at the Superbowl, as her last performance was at the Grammys in 2018. She and her backup dancers performed on moving platforms that went as high as 60 feet above the field. The real reason behind this was to keep the performance off of the grass. Despite this reason, it was still an awesome performance. Since she was singing on a small, moving platform for most of the performance, she was not able to do much movement and choreography, but her singing left everyone in awe.. 

 

Rihanna used her first performance in 5 years to announce her second pregnancy with her boyfriend, ASAP Rocky. Because Rihanna had not performed in a long time, many fans were ecstatic to watch her. Fans were so excited that “Rihanna's Super Bowl Halftime Show Had More Viewers Than the Game Itself.” Many fans had the mindset that the Super Bowl was just a small part of Rihanna’s concert, and I have to admit that I definitely felt this way too! It was nice to hear her hit songs such as “Only Girl”, “Rude Boy”, “Work” and many others live, instead of on the radio. Overall, Rihanna’s performance was a huge hit.
