Beauty and the Beast
By Ellie Georgioudakis
Weeks and nights melted into a blur as we dedicated ourselves to perfecting every part of our roles for the play, Beauty and the Beast.
Among us, a cast of diverse talents emerged, with Anna Pagan gracefully embodying Belle; Gabriel McCabe commanding the stage as the Beast; Patrick Weemaels as Cogsworth a character of humor and depth; Brady Fitzgerald illuminating Lumiere with charm; Savannah Park lending warmth to Mrs. Potts; Veronica Rubio adding flair as Babette; Regina Sica bringing youthful energy to Chip; Henry Sliss as the arrogant Gaston; and Tycho Force providing comic relief as LeFou.
Each member poured their heart and soul into their character, honing their craft and forming a bond that transcended the stage.
But it wasn't just the leads; every member of the ensemble contributed, mastering intricate dances and group routines to enhance the performance.
Behind the scenes, the guiding hands of Mrs. Denler and Mrs. Gina sculpted our collective effort into a polished masterpiece, tirelessly choreographing and directing every scene.
As the curtains rose on opening night, the hard work was clearly visible. Each character took the stage, finding success and the stage crew, put in all their time to make a set that mirrored provincial France.
Show after show, the energy on stage was filled with passion, felt by the crowd. Our play wasn't just entertaining; it was an expression of our shared dedication, talent, and love for the craft, leaving a lasting impression on all who experienced it.
